Pennsylvania Voter ID Requirement Delayed By Court

A judge on Tuesday blocked Pennsylvania's divisive voter identification requirement from going into effect on Election Day, delivering a hard-fought victory to Democrats who said it was a ploy to defeat President Barack Obama and other opponents who said it would prevent the elderly and minorities from voting.
The decision by Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson on the law requiring each voter to show a valid photo ID could be appealed to the state Supreme Court.
However, Simpson based his decision on guidelines given to him days ago by the high court justices, and it could easily be the final word on the law just five weeks before the Nov. 6 election.

Having people get a "voting only" ID? That's the EXACT Jim Crowe law they are against! WTF? These Dems are in panic mode right now, and it needs to get fixed NOW. Use the I.D. we already have so it will discriminate against NO ONE. There is nothing problematic about having the I.D. required to cash checks, get bank accounts, pay bills, apply for utilities when moving into a house, and the like. Is there anything one can do WITHOUT an I.D.?

Our legal system is in a state of chaos , our military is in a state of chaos , our entire government is also in a state of chaos.
We the people , will be in the same boat if obama is elected.

1046 clearly you have done nothing to look at this issue in depth so please spare us your tirades.

Those against voter ID laws claim voting is a right. Those in favor of Obamacare are claiming healthcare coverage is a right. How come then, no one is complaining that we will be required to have a "machine readable national health indentification card?" This is to start being implemented no later than Jan 1, 2013.

This hypocracy goes to show that those agaisnt voter ID laws are only against them, because they know voter fraud is a problem and if they don't know it, then they should get informed. Common sense dictates that fraud is common everywhere and to deny it is being dishonest and a liar or just plain old clueless.

Exactly! So where are all the people who are going to be disenfranchised when they have to show ID to get healthcare?
There is no valid arguement against voter ID laws-NONE. To argue otherwise is ignorant and/or dishonest.

Please tell up what the in depth issues are concerning this 6:29. What are we missing? Why is it okay that people will have to show ID for healthcare but not to vote?
