Laurel, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning at Hollybrook Apartments in Laurel.
Officers from Laurel Police Department and EMS responded to the parking lot behind the 1500 building of Hollybrook Apartments around 12:10 a.m. the morning after a 9-1-1 call was received stating someone had been shot. As the officers arrived, they were informed that a 25 year old male from Bridgeville had been shot in the back as he exited his car. EMS transported the male to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. State Police Detectives were called in and are currently investigating the incident.

Another shooting in the taxpayer sponsored projects. It is a crying shame that the hardworking people of this country are financing criminal breeding grounds.
All of these apartments need to just GO! Nothing but trouble every week. And right next to the school? Great. Go ahead, keep building more..that's the answer. I am sick of seeing them trolling about when the rest of us are racing to and from work.
