Sussex County Breaks Ground On Runway Extension Project At County Airport

The Governor helped break ground on a project that will extend the main runway at the Sussex County Airport near Georgetown. The improvements, to be completed in late 2013, will make the facility more accessible and safer for larger aircraft and open new opportunities for businesses that use the adjacent industrial park as their base of operations.

uh oh, time for bob bryant to show up and tell us all about those regional jets and regularly scheduled part 121 airline service that's coming to salisbury. And how the airport needs to be expanded again for all this future growth. Funny thing when I came here salisbury had two airlines! Bob needs to keep the funds rolling in so he can continue to do nothing for a living! except collect parking fees! Ever thought of collecting landing fees bob?
