COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The controversy over Chick-Fil-A president Dan Cathy's comments over gay marriage have come to the University of Maryland -- where students have started a petition to get the on campus location shut down.
Chick-Fil-A is called a "bigoted and hateful organization" in a petition started by students at the University of Maryland.
The petition goes on to say that allowing the company to continue operating on campus goes against the "spirit of equality that the university claims to champion."

Kick those students off out of UM and move on.
Maybe chick-fil-a can sue ever one of the people that sign the petition for violating a persons free speech. THEN they can say they are hateful.
If they wish not to but there, so be it. They have no right to petition a company with an established record of good products and service. Another bunch of liberal O'Malley jerks.

The thing I notice the most is that the left is intolerant. If they don't like what you say or think they will label you a hate group.

What ever happened to them embracing diversity? Isnt this the liberal mantra? I swear liberals do have a mental disease or they are just plain old ignorant. They can't even think straight. Chick Fil A donates money to organizations that lobby for maintaining practices in Africa where homosexuals are murdered.
You can speak of a "double-standard," where liberals supposedly bash those who have views different from their own but perhaps because it concerns an organization that contributes to murdering gay people.
Cathy does have a right to free speech, just as others have a right not to eat at Chick Fil A or start a petition.
