The Department of Motor Vehicle is closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The only thing you can do there is use the kiosk.

nope most of the time the kiosk is out of service....
This makes 17 paid days off for the state employees....in addition to their lucrative vacation, sick, and retirement, and medical benefits package. CRAZY. O'Mally signed the order last year giving an extra 5 paid days off in order to recognize the "sacrifice" (his word) these employees have made for the State of Maryland. How anyone can question the fact that Government is out of control is just beyond me.....something has to be done. Are there any non-government employees out there the get 17 paid days off, in addition to their vacation time.....anyone????

You haven't been to the DMV lately have you? There are NONE in there anymore. Since they changed the law in June of 2009? * I think it was 2009* There have been none in there. Where there was once a long wait at the DMV now most of the workers look bored and have nothing to do. Now they are using the kiosk if you want to renew your tags. I wonder if they will still be keeping all those employees
