Fred Lee Woody Jr, 40yo of Parsonsburg, MD was arrested and charged with 1st & 2nd degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Disorderly Intoxication.
On June 19, 2012 at approximately 8:12pm officers responded to 600 W RailRoad Ave for a domestic assault in progress. Officers made contact with Woody and observed a large amount of blood on his hands, arms, and face. Officers also made contact with
the victim who was found to have a laceration to her forehead, swelling around the left eye and severe bruising to her face, arms, and back. Salisbury EMS responded and transported the victim to PRMC-ER. Further investigation revealed that Woody
and the victim became involved in a verbal argument. Woody then struck the victim in her face with a closed fist. The victim also stated to the officers that when she fell to the floor after being struck in the face, Woody continued to assault her by
kicking her several times.
Woody was released to the custody of central booking and held
on $50,000.00 bond.
