Faith In The Supreme Court Has Fallen Off A Cliff

A New York Times/CBS News poll finds that only 44% of Americans approve of the job the Supreme Court is doing. Back in 1994 – the Supreme Court's approval rating was a whopping 80%. Three-quarters of Americans now, however, believe the justices on the high court rule based on their own political views and not on an impartial reading of the Constitution. Just like our Congress – which hit an all-time low approval rating of 10% earlier this year – the Supreme Court has been taken over by corporate interests. The Roberts Court – mores than any other court in recent history – has sided with big business over working people. And if Mitt Romney wins the White House – and is able to appoint more right-wing justices to the bench – this court will tilt even further toward the oligarchs.

It's not up to the average American to decide how well the Supreme Court is doing. The average American is not a lawyer. That's like taking a poll saying that only 44% of auto mechanics approve of the job that neurosurgeons are doing. They know nothing of the law...who are they to think they are know the law better than the Supreme Court?

Shame on those %@$)^# justices. They keep wanting to uphold the Constitution and strike down those libertard give away ideas that violate it. Ridiculous isn't it?

Meaningless poll. Most Americans know nothing of the Supreme Court.

Another first late at night libtard post.
The article is absurd at face value.

The author of the article is trying to pave the way for an excuse as to why the unconstitutional Obamacare gets struck down.

Personally,I don't recall anyone questioning the integrity of the Supreme Court until Obama threatened them ove Obamacare. Not until then did we realize that the justices were not an isolated independent unit with the latitude to make their own decisions. Now we realize how they too are affected by special interests.
