DENVER, Colorado (KUSA) - Police are investigating a vicious beating at a McDonald's drive-thru in Denver.
Shannon, who asked us not to use her last name, was the victim of an attack on May 9 just before noon.
She called our sister station KUSA 9News, and asked for help finding her attackers.
"I don't feel safe anymore," Shannon said.

it seems to me, 10% of the population - 90% of the problems and the race card is played every chance it can be played. I will admit that I am becoming a racist with all of this going on. However I do know some very nice black people. Then I hear the Black Panthers get away with their BS. It seems Black people get away with hate crimes and White people get the max for a hate crime with the news media on top of any white hate crimes. Maybe it's just the area of Salisbury I live in.

I would say mind your own business at all times. The biggest tree huggers in the world all seem to live in CO, but this chick should have kept her self righteous mouth shut. The restaurant has people to pick up trash, and the cops are paid to enforce the law. BTW, I am a white Republican.

She's a liberal because she didn't approve of littering?! Give me a break! She should not have been beaten for speaking her mind. What she said is true. Littering is BS. Call me a tree-hugger all you want, but I think people who litter are thoughtless and nasty. These women had no right to fly into her. They should be charged. This is not the animal kingdom. Believe it or not, there are rules and a part of human decency is to respect your fellow man. Just because they didn't like what Shannon had to say doesn't mean they had to hit her. There are other ways to disagree.
Another reason to carry a .357. Whether the police say you can or not. I didn't read anything about how well the police "protected" her. They DID, however, file an excellent report.
