Ohio Puppies Found in Suitcase Going to New Homes

Six bulldog-mix puppies found in a suitcase next to a trash bin in Ohio now have new homes.

Winners of a lottery to adopt the puppies and their mother picked them up at an animal shelter near Toledo on Tuesday.

The Blade newspaper in Toledo ( http://bit.ly/KckEEX) reports that one family chosen to adopt the dogs drove two hours from the Cleveland area to pick out their new pup.

Seriously...I guess these people did not realize that bull dogs are worth a lot of money.

10:46 that's all you can say. Not how horrible it is for anyone to dump or abandon pups. Thousands are thrown away like trash everyday. This will continue as long as people don't spay and neuter their animals. As far as worth money there are many litters of pups just like these waiting to get into rescue or being killed everyday. People thinking they can make money is a big part of the problem. When they realize they can't they just get rid of them anyway they can.

Some crazy people out there!!! Why the heck couldn't they take them to the Humane S. instead of having them suffer a horrible death as they would had they not been found.

@11:22 oh give it a rest. I live in a house with two bull dogs and 6 cats I obviously side with the animals on this but I was merely stating a fact that whoever did this threw a great deal of money in the trash. Bull dogs are an expensive breed of dog so if they would have had no problem giving them away.
