Nearly 1/2 Of Veterans Filed For Disability
Government statistics revealed that nearly half of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans have filed for disability. Forty-five percent of the 1.6 million vets from these wars are seeking compensation for service-related injuries. That's more than the double the disability claims from the Gulf War. In addition, these vets reported an average of eight to nine ailments, compared to fewer than four for Vietnam veterans. That makes post-9/11 vets the most medically and mentally troubled generation of veterans in the nation's history. Government officials told the Associated Press that several factors were driving the claims, like more troops surviving wounds, multiple tours of duty and greater awareness of problems like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Disability payments range from $127 to nearly $3,000 a month, depending on the level of disability.

Go to your local gym on a typical work day... get talking to most men there and they will tell you they are collecting disability from a the government. One openly brags about hurting himself playing basketball while serving in the army, gets a check every month. It's unbelievable, running miles on tread miles and pumping weights but the State or federal government has been conned into paying them a disability check. Don't know how the U.S. survives with these free loaders sucking the life out of it.
You have one in thousands who has cheated the system. So that make all of them free loaders. Many troops who served in Viet Nam after 40 years are filing for disability. The government was forever owning up to the agent orange, hearing loss, post traumatic stress so these men/women have suffered for 40 years and now seeking help.
THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT FREE LOADERS. They gave of themselves for your sorry a$$.
Walk a mile in their shoes (if you would have feet or could walk.)
