U.S. Senate Candidate Richard Douglas offered the following reaction to Sen. Ben Cardin's floor speech today that mentioned the tragic death of Trayvon Martin:
"We haven't heard the Senator make floor speeches about over 200 men and women murdered in Baltimore City and Prince George's county within a one-year period, " said Douglas. "Trayvon Martin's death is a tragedy, and our prayers are with his family. But let's remember that this is an election year and not forget our people here at home when
career politicians seek media attention."

Cardin's gross. Where was his speech when 4 year old Jamal Woolford was shot with an illegally obtained gun?
Cardin only pretends to care about this because of the publicity. He makes me sick. He's nothing but a good for nothing slob just like 99% of the rest of congress.
