O'Malley Seeks $45 Hike In 'Flush Fee'

Gov. Martin O’Malley is now pushing to increase the Chesapeake Bay “flush fee” from $30 to $75 annually for all Marylanders.

The state, according to the governor, needs to increase the flush fee — officially called the Bay Restoration Fund — in order to keep enough money coming in to keep sewage plant upgrades and other pollution-busting projects on track.
The $75 plan hits the pocketbook harder than O’Malley’s initial plan.

This has to end soon or we are doomed. No more increases in anything, we are done. Government needs to cut back, eliminate waste, and stop giving themselves raises.

Here's an idea.
Lets just give the State & Federal Gov't our entire disposable income.
The Government will then fully support all US citizens in such a fashion as they see fit. After all, they know what's best for all of us.
Let's just be socialists and get it the hell over with!

They make me sick

What gets me is that I pay the flush tax, and it goes to the cities to build new treatment plants. I put in a new system three years ago, and I don't remember getting a single penny from any of the cities. I love the bay, but the program is lacking a basic sense of fairness.

Won't matter, the next group of dumbasses will be in place and do the direct same thing...

If you want this to stop, become self sufficient and do things that save money or make is so you don't use any...

The less money the govt gets, the less it has to keep doing this... people in the elites or lawmakers and the like won't work for free...
