Farmington, DE-Delaware State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit investigated a serious motor vehicle crash last evening when a piece of debris in the roadway entered through a vehicle and struck the passenger in the head.
The passenger of that vehicle sustained serious injuries and was flown to Christiana Hospital.
State Police have learned that Elizabeth B. Wix has died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
