Carter: Netanyahu too eager for war with Iran

Former President Jimmy Carter expressed concerns Tuesday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may be too willing to go to war with Iran.

“I don’t think that’s his first preference, but I think he’s much more eager to go to war with Iran than President Obama [is]. And I was glad to see President Obama discourage that immediate resumption of hostilities between Israel and its neighbors that the Israelis seem to be inclined to do,” the former president said in an interview with The Washington Times-affiliated “America’s Morning News” radio broadcast.

Mr. Netanyahu is in Washington this week to meet with Mr. Obama and other American leaders about the Iranian nuclear program, and Mr. Carter said “my hope is that President Obama will prevail and we can avoid war with Iran.”

Who is Jimmy Carter?

Jimmy Carter was the president that had no balls and left American hostages over in Iran for 444 days. I think we should ship him over there.

Carter was not that bad a president as everyone likes to make him out as.

He was a peaceful and diplomatic man who tried to instill it into Americans.

Most know that is a lost cause.

And when he did send special forces to free the hostages they screwed up, crashed the helicopters and of course the CIC gets the blame.

But even after leaving the white house, he has spent all of his life helping others.

He has done much more for others than all the ones insulting have, combined.

Americans love to hate. They love to make war. They love to kill. That's the main reason he was not popular. He spoke of peace when everyone else wanted to fight.

If more people took an honest look in the mirror this country and possibly the world would be a better place.

But I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen.
