NYPD "Stop And Frisks" Hit All-Time High

City police officers stopped and questioned 684,330 people on the street last year.

The number of so-called "stop and frisks" is rising.

City police officers stopped and questioned 684,330 people on the street last year, a record since the NYPD began yearly tallies of the tactic in 2002 and a 14 percent increase over 2010.

It couldn't be determined how many people were patted down during the encounters, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Nearly 1900 illegal searches a DAY without just cause...
This is CRIMINAL.
82000 people (12%)received summons?
I'd bet most were for "hindering" or "Resisting" which are really trumped up charges when people objected to the invasion of privacy in public....
LEO's are out of control.
This affront to the constitutional liberties of Americans MUST stop or LEO's will begin to be targeted as terrorists by civil defense forces under NDAA. If you see a LEO breaking the law, RECORD it. Take notes and file a complaint with the ACLU. Funny I used to loathe that group and support the police, that ideal has turned a 180.

Seig Heil! INNOCENT until proven guilty and "reasonable cause"? HA! And the JUDGES are upholding this? Where is the ACLU? Where is the outrage from almost 700,000 (!!) citizens? Do you get shot if you refuse? Not yet, but give 'em time....Or are you "detained"? Or just beaten to pulp and left for dead by those who can't stop telling us how much they 'protect and serve'? I think they have chosen to serve the wrong master....Did the 82,000 people who received summonses get fined? THAT would go a long way in explaining the Nazi behavior...
