For a very few people, this will result in an increase of $1 for a round trip on the shuttle. For most, it will amount to a $1 savings. For everybody, it will be less confusing.

If you ride just the shuttle across the bridge, it's $1 all day (usually just a single round trip). It's proposed to be changed to $1 each boarding. If you must also use the highway bus (most do), that cost $1 per boarding or $3 all day. As I understand, the proposed fare change will $3 all day for any bus or $1 each boarding. So, $3 will get resort workers anywhere all day which is what they paid last year ($1 all day on the shuttle plus $1 per boarding on the highway bus). This could actually increase use of the Park and Ride lot as well as bus use. That's a good thing.
