Obama Challenges Congress On Sticky Issues
Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md. -- "We must invest in America. It's good for our economy and helps create jobs. I wholeheartedly agree with President Obama that we have to put more money into the hands of hard-working Americans, support American small businesses, and foster American innovation. We need to get more Americans back to work. This must be our focus.
"President Obama understands that gridlock does nothing to help American families and does not create jobs. I believe that we can -- and must -- work across party lines to accomplish our work on behalf of the American people. Only by working together can we make the investments we need to grow our economy and create more American jobs.
