Narrative: On 22 January 2012, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a theft of services from a taxi driver. The investigation revealed that the suspect, David T. Dougherty, had used the services of a taxi, and did not pay for that service. Dougherty was placed under arrest for theft of services.

The deputy transported Dougherty to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Dougherty on personal recognizance.

Suspect: Dandre S. Holland, 24, Mardela Springs, MD

Narrative: On 21 January 2012, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Shore Stop for a report of a theft of two cases of beer. The ensuing investigation led to the suspect, Dandre Holland. Holland was placed under arrest for theft.

The deputy transported Holland to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Holland on personal recognizance.

Incident: First Degree Assault
Date of Incident: 23 January 2012
Location: Oak Terrace Road Mardela Springs, MD
Suspect: Cassandra W. Butts, 33, Mardela Springs MD

Narrative: On 21 January 2012 a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to transport a subject to the hospital for an evaluation. Upon arrival the subject, Cassandra W. Butts, became uncooperative and assaulted the deputy. The deputy was treated for minor injuries. Butts, was placed under arrest and was charged with the below offenses.

The deputy transported Butts to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Butts in the Detention Center in lieu of $75,000.00 bond.
