GEORGETOWN — Blogger and conservative Republican Don Ayotte of Georgetown has entered the race for Sussex County's District 3, currently held by Joan Deaver, D-Rehoboth Beach.
Ayotte, 65, said he has been disturbed by the decisions and the way Deaver has represented her constituents. “Mrs. Deaver is a nice person, but we have some real differences in our political ideology,” he said.
Deaver, who has served the past four years, said she will run for the seat this year.
