Dear Dr. Lever:
Please be advised that the Wicomico County Charter sets forth the timeline for
preparation, review and Council action on our Capital Budget. As the County has not yet taken final action on the entire Capital Improvements Budget and Five-Year Capital Improvements Program, the specific details and final action are not certain at this time.
We recognize and appreciate your office’s continued support for our Board of
Education’s capital projects, and in particular, the Bennett Middle School replacement project.
We regret that there has been a pause in our funding of this program that was necessitated by both economic and programmatic concerns. I intend to recommend funding for Bennett Middle School and such other lessor Wicomico County Board of Education capital requests as can be funded in this austere environment.

The tone of the letter makes it sound as though it is all the fault of the county council for not passing the capital improvements budget.
If I'm not mistaken - I believe there is suppose to be public imput - first - before a capital improvements budget is implemented - in which case - Pollitt's timeline is all out of whack.
In football it's called an "end around" with a "crackback block".
That's the whole point. A legal framework had to be followed, as well as having a picture of what the budget looked like, which Pollitt denied to council. The council balked, rightfully so, while Matt, Sherie, and one other, aided Rick in his quest of a political vendetta, aided by the willing and tremendously hot political arm of the WCBOE formerly known as Freddie's Angels.
Great investigative work! I never saw this in this mornings DT article.
4:31 Take Joe's advice and do not read or pay for the times. It is a waste of time and money, and all the times does is lie and copy Joe's stories. Just come to Joe's site and read no lies,just the whole truthful details.
