By days end Salisbury News will have delivered 54,000 Posts since we've been on Blogger. By years end we should have delivered around 20,000 of those Posts in just one year. So far we have published 333,445 comments, WOW! The Daily Times would LOVE to have a piece of that, but they don't. Not even close.
What this means to us is that WE are bringing together communities on the Eastern Shore. If we can provide a sort of one stop shop for news and information and get people involved through comments, we can get a better feel as to where we stand as a whole.
We can't thank you enough for your support. Don't think for a second that we do this all alone. There are many very dedicated supporters of this Site that send us information daily. SBYNews.com works because of all of you.
Our Contributors are another vital reason for the success of this Site. Some remain silent because of their positions but let me assure you, these people are very much in the know and provide incredible information we would otherwise never be aware of.

You write a nice year end type of article and completely ruin it by knocking the Daily Times. Every time I think you might show growth, and I don't mean numbers, you disappoint me. Oh well, maybe next year. Congrats on your numbers.

Don't feed me your self riotous BS here. I'll add, have you EVER seen the DT's give SBYNews.com credit for the multiple stories that have taken from this Site? The answer is, NO.
Do you have ANY clue just how many times we've published a story and I get a retun call from the same person telling me the DT's and WBOC just called them stating they saw it on SBYNews.com.
Whenever we get a story from the DT's we use their logo, the first paragraph and a LINK back to your Website.
Talk about a group of people who need to GROW UP!
No need to get nasty. Just saying I for one would have more respect for you and your blog if you would stick with news and leave out the enemy/competition bashing. It takes a very big man to walk away and not engage. I think perhaps you also could do some growing up. Just my opinion and I thank you for the opportunity to voice it. And for the record, I don't have a subscription to the Times. I don't spend any time at all worrying about what they have to say. And neither should you! Merry Christmas!
