Arraigned at JP Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Center for lack of $12,000.00 secured bail.

Millsboro, DE- A Millsboro man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of an acquaintance that occurred early Thursday morning.
The incident happened at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, as the victim, a 45 year old Millsboro man and his friend, James L. Street, Jr., as well as a third subject, were drinking at Street’s residence located in the 28000 block of Layton Davis Road. At some point Street and the victim became involved in a verbal altercation which turned physical. James Street then produced a folding pocket knife from his pants pocket and proceeded to stab and punch the victim numerous times. The victim was able to flee from the home and respond to a neighbor’s residence where the 9-1-1 call center was contacted.
The victim was removed from the scene by EMS and transported to the Beebe Memorial Hospital where he was treated for his non life threatening injuries. Responding troopers took James Street, Jr. into custody without incident. He was then arrested and charged with the above list of crimes. Street was arraigned at JP Court 3 and committed to the Department of Corrections for lack of $12,000.00 secured bail.
