Rep. Andy Harris Statement On The Super Committee

"I'm disappointed that the Super Committee wasn't able to achieve even the minimal amount of deficit reduction,” said Rep. Andy Harris. “Committee members like John Kerry refused to cut spending and instead tried to increase taxes on American job creators by one trillion dollars.

Their unwillingness to comprise on tax increases will put us on a one-way path to a European-style debt crisis."

Mr. Harris, you are there to do a job for us. It is not getting done. You must share the blame along with the Democrats. Vote ALL incumbents out until we get someone who will work for us instead of themselves!

Andy, You are doing your best and reporting this to us is all you can do since you were not invited to be on the "schlooper committee" . Not much you can do but report failure. We all expected it, and reality has happened. Work forward, we are on your side. Thank you for your hard work.

anonymous 6:41, what a coward to post something anonymously. You democrats never cease to amaze me. Be a man and use your name. Those who do not hold absolutely no credibility whatsoever.

Joe,
I assume you are replying to me 6:14.
Like hundreds of others I would NEVER use my name on your blog (but let's not get into that now). However, after I posted, I emailed the exact same view to Rep. Harris (complete with name and contact information). I am not a Democrat or a Republican (I am Independent). I feel it is time for a Voter Pledge, a wake up call for action, and that is to vote out ALL incumbents until they can govern for the good of the country and not their Party. I don't understand the verbal venom, but I will give you a pass since it was late when you posted. Hope you can reflect on my views more calmly this morning, and find the positive value of my idea. Take the Pledge!

Rather than puff myself up with my bio, less just say that I have been a taxpayer for over 45 years, and I have never missed voting in any election. As a business person, I am not happy with the job performance of any of these people in Washington. The citizens hired them to do a job, not take special interest funded trips and get rich with insider stock trades. Both Parties are guilty, and deserve to be fired!
