Salisbury Police Department Press Releases 11-21-11

On November 18, 2011 at approximately 9:56 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were dispatched to a residence on the three hundred (300) block of Penn Street for the report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival the officers met with an adult female victim who advised that she had become involved in a domestic type argument with a family member. The argument escalated into a physical altercation and resulted in the below listed suspect throwing the victim on the ground and striking the victim repeatedly. The victim did not require medical attention.

ARRESTED: Latasha Chantell Holbrook, 24 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Second degree assault
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On November 18, 2011 at 9:17 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant for theft and related charges. The Salisbury Police initially responded to a local hotel on October 18, 2011 and received information concerning the theft of several bank deposits. The investigation by Salisbury Detectives identified the below listed suspect, who was an employee of the hotel, as responsible for the thefts. The suspect was also found to have forged and passed several checks made to the hotel, and additional checks taken from a co-employee.

ARRESTED: Eugene Oronald Stewart, III, 23 years of age

Theft (under $ 1,000) – 3 counts
Theft (under $ 100) – 2 counts
Forgery of private documents – 3 counts
Issuing false documents – 3 counts
Possession of forged documents – 3 counts
Fraud

On November 19, 2011 at approximately 4:24 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police responded to a residence on the seven hundred (700) block of Camden Avenue for the report of an assault. Upon arrival the officers met with a female victim who advised that she had been assaulted by the below listed suspect while the victim was holding her eight (8) month old infant. The victim stated that she had become involved in a verbal argument with the suspect which led to the suspect striking her in the head area. The victim continued that during the altercation she was holding her infant and as a result the suspect struck the infant in the back and head before fleeing from the scene. The officers located the suspect at a residence on Washington Street where she was positively identified and taken into custody.

On November 21, 2011 at approximately 12:05 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the eight hundred (800) block of S. Schumaker Drive for the report of a domestic assault. Upon arrival the officers met with an adult female victim who advised that she had been assaulted by the below listed suspect during an argument. The victim advised that during an argument the suspect pushed her several times against a wall. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
