Wilmington Man Arrested For Beating Puppy
A Wilmington man was arrested for beating a puppy.
Police were dispatched to East 24th street because of reports a man was beating a nine month old puppy with a stick.
Witness say they say the subject, Dwight Phares strike the animal with the 3-foot stick 15 to 20 times.

I hope the dog was rescued and will find a loving home to take care of it for the rest of its life. As for the man....he should be caned 15 or 20 times. Over and over we hear stories of humans who have done horrendous things to other humans; but started with animals.
Addenum: Do I think caning the man will change his life outlook; NO, I seriously doubt it. But at least more justice is served than a $50 - $100 fine, stet or nol process court decision!
How about raming the 3 foot stick up his arse. That will change his life.
