reproduction-Yes...Sex-No...For you Bill Clinton lovers, there is a difference. I don't want any government offical deciding when and what material to expose my children to. Maybe I am old fashioned but I kind of like my children to be children. They will plenty of time left to deal with adult issues
i think it should be taught at home. that being said, not all parents will teach it so those kids only chance at being education is in school. sure they can "learn" by trial & error. then the teen birth rate will stay high as well as the rate of abortion and/or adoption. someone's got to teach the kids who won't get taught at home...
No-schools are for teaching reading, writing and arithmetic. American kids are getting dumber and dumber compared to other countries students and it's no wonder with all the BS they are teaching now. More concentration needs to be on vocabulary and public speaking. There is so much electronic communication going on young people don't know how to communicate by talking in sensible sentences anymore.
From the biology standpoint - yes. The act itself should not be something a libtard teacher is indoctrinating our children with, and telling them that when to engage in sex is their decision.
When a 10 year old gives birth someone needed to teach her! She evidentally dont now sex brings unwanted children and the taxpayers support the child and the "mother" child.
Responsible behavior should be taught, period!! I don't believe sex education should be taught in elementary school. I also don't believe that teachers should be teaching sex education and that it should be taught by someone in the medical field. Too many liberal teachers views are already in the classrooms. I think limited sex education should be taught perhaps in junior high, but not details such as pictures showing how its done. I agree that reproduction should be taught first and foremost.
I assume this question was in response to what was proposed in NewYork. If any parent wants some one at school to teach their kids about pornography, anal sex, beastiality, oral sex with braces, and gay lifestyles, then your kids should be taken away from you. It is a terrible excuse that we have to teach this in school because parents aren't teaching this at home. Stupid people should not be having kids. In our society, we reward stupidity.
I am more than capable of teaching my child about sex. It should not be mandatory because then it is denying the students the chance to learn something else if they are taught it at home. If they want to offer the class after school then fine, but not during the school day.

Yes of course. For the very same reasons Health is taught in schools.
I think it should be optional. Parents should be able to choose whether or not to enroll their child in the sex ed class.

the basics, definately.
I've had sex with some of these parents, yes.
Yes, because nowadays you can't rely on the parents to teach their kids anything!
It should be combined with driver's ed like in WV!

No , do what comes naturaly
They should teach biology and reproduction but not sexual acts or homosexuality or other fringe perversions that kids aren't old enough to deal with.
No. That is not a teacher's job. Plus I don't think the Liberal agenda should be taught.
Definitely. Taught early & often.
