Dagsboro -- As a public courtesy, the Department of Transportation (DelDOT) wants to inform area residents that Norfolk Southern Railroad will close the railroad crossing on Dagsboro Road between Fire Tower Road and Iron Branch Road in Dagsboro for the replacement of the crossing. The road will be closed at 9 a.m. on Monday, October 10. The road will reopen by 6 p.m. on Friday, October 14, pending weather.
Detour routes:
Westbound: Iron Branch Road to Fire Tower Road and back to Dagsboro Road
Eastbound: Fire Tower Road to Iron Branch Road and back to Dagsboro Road
DelDOT will post signs to alert motorists of the closure and the accompanying detour routes.
