Salisbury Kennel Club Presents Fruitland Police K-9 Vest

Last night the Salisbury Kennel Club presented the FPD K-9, (Astra) with a bullet proof vest. The Kennel Club also delivered a similar vest to the Salisbury Police K-9 but it has yet to be accepted by the Salisbury City Council, therefore its not official yet.

The Salisbury Kennel Club is an outstanding organization that does so much for this community and our K-9 friends.

Thank you Salisbury Kennel Club for protecting those that work very hard to keep Salisbury safe. The K-9 officers are a vital part of the crime fighting team.

Many thanks to the Kennel club for helping to protect the K-9 friends that help protect our community!!!

It cost a great deal to train the dogs & they put their life on the line for their handler. So good to know they will now have some protection. EW

Joe, the cost of the vest for the Salisbury Police Dept K-9 was donated through the SMKC Charitable Trust by Pat Williams, Hometown Builders, and Cathy's Pet Salon, Spa & Doggie Daycare. The official presentation of the vest to Miso will be in November. Thank you for allowing me to clarify this.

Dogs-gotta love 'em. If you give them a job, they will actually work for a living. Unlike many humans.....

What a great story. I know the low lifes on welfare hate this attention..

Drugs will be harder to sell now!
