Anonymous said...: I do remember in the 50's and 60's it was normal to go to the drug store and buy Paregoric over the counter. This medication was used to treat stomachaches, or even teething. This stuff had opium in it. Wow, how many thousands of people seem to forget,and how many of your parents would be shot by this same person.
