The 30-year cold war between the United States and Iran may soon turn hot.
The Department of Justice yesterday outlined a foiled assassination plot against the Saudi Ambassador to the United States – that was allegedly sponsored by elements of the Iranian government. The Obama Administration claims that two men – one of which is an American citizen – working at the behest of the Iranian government approached a DEA informant in Mexico – offering up $1.5 million for the death of the Saudi Ambassador. Plans were then made to bomb the Saudi Arabian embassy in Washington, DC – or a crowded restaurant that the ambassador often visited. According to the Washington Post – Justice Department officials were taken aback by the brazenness of the plot. But Attorney General Eric Holder had tough word for Iran yesterday saying, “The United States is committed to holding Iran accountable for its actions.” And already – Some Republican members of Congress are calling this “act of war.” Iran meanwhile – is denying their involvement and is calling the whole ordeal a complete fabrication.

interesting distraction...isn't it?
the party that protests war, is about to start another one.
mind numbed robots march on in lockstep as long as football games come on the tube Sunday.
It's about time! Since 1979, Iran has proved over and over again that they are the mortal enemy of the United States and Israel. Iran has had an ass whupping coming for over 30 years. There can be no half victory. They should be annihilated with a vindictive vengeance and their land turned into a parking lot for U.S and Israeli military vehicles.
Islam, as practiced in Iran and Saudi Arabia, is the mortal enemy of Western culture, women's rights and Christianity. Like the holy Christian Crusaders of centuries past, I vow to fight those unholy dogs to the death, so help me God!
Just what we need, ANOTHER war.
How about you freaks in D.C. who want a war, put a uniform on, grab a rifle and have at it.
If you S.O.B.'s had to fight any of these wars you so happily engage in, THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY WARS.
So easy to get someone else to fight your fights isn't it?
Diplomats are not very diplomatic are they?
