Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On September 5, 2011 at approximately 5:10 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Delmarva Surgery Center on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of an intrusion alarm. Upon arrival the officers were checking the building and observed the below listed suspect walking in the business.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident, prior to taking any property from the business.

ARRESTED: James Kenneth Leaman, 53 years of age
Millsboro, Delaware
CHARGES: Fourth degree burglary
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On September 5, 2011 at approximately 9:02 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the six hundred (600) block of Fitzwater Street for the report of indecent exposure. Upon arrival the officers met with a juvenile female victim and her parents. The officers received information from the juvenile that the below listed suspect, who was known to the victim from the area, was observed by the victim standing outside of her bedroom window exposing himself. The suspect was positively identified and taken into custody without incident.
