She's a teacher at Parkside High School - English I think.

This is so alarming and frightening. This lady was just going about her business like we all do on a daily basis.
I'm home by myself and had to walk to my farm building and I was a nervous wreck.
I will be praying for Ms Davis' safe return.

there is more to this story. this is just odd. keep up the good work albero.

9:58..don't be scared just prepare yourself and be aware of your surroundings. Most victims are unsuspecting victims, meaning they never thought it would happen to them. Everyone can possibly be the victim of a crime (of any type) so you must think what would I do if .... and feel confident in your preparedness. If you fear before it has even happened you will surely crack and leave yourself vulnerable when (if) it does happen.

I heard this one on the scanner. The husband needs to be looked at real hard. Who reports a wife after only two hours at Wal Mart. My wife is in there for hours. Why do police departments let patrol work missing persons. I think a detective should be called out on all missing persons cases. Patrol cops are way to busy doing patrol stuff. Just saying.

God Bless that women i hope they find her safe.

Thanks Joe for the news.

I just can't imagine walking in the shoes of Alice's family. I hope she is found safe. Doesn't look good though having been this long now.

Joe can this be brought up to the first article. You get so much traffic that people would see the photo more. Thanks.

She would stop her vehicle for someone who was a student or former student. All of us who teach would.

Thank You 10:03. I know what you mean. I remember reading once about how to avoid being carjacked and it said usually a carjacker will back off and look for another victim if they have seen you eyeing they up. They like to strike suddenly, surprising their victims.
I also happen to know if something bad did happen to Ms Davis there is a good chance that it wasn't randon.
This is just so unsettling. I would imagine a responsible lady like this would have gone home by now if she could.

10:45 am- Shame on you for jumping to conclusions about her husband. Not all women, myself included, spend "hours" in Walmart. I like to get in and out as quickly as possible!!!!!

Why? Do you have some inside information? Did you contact the police about it?

Or are you just trying to be self-important?

Anonymous said...

2:27, Why do you say I'm trying to be "self-important?"
For one thing I could give a hoot less whether I'm important or not and as a matter of fact my privacy is guarded like it gold to the point of making all my charitable contribution anon through an attorney. And secondly no one needs nor wants to hear smart comments from someone so obviously unimformed and out of touch.
Ms. Davis isn't some druggie without a job or responsiblities so isn't likely to just have gone off somewhere.
As far as crimes being randon, most are not and are committed by someone known to a victim.
Check out crime statistics before saying something so ignorant, please.
This is a serious matter and I'm sure her family is worried sick. Instead of coming on here trying to sound clever or witty why don't you try saying a prayer for Ms Davis and her loved ones!

I am hearing from more than one credible source close to the situation that, based on previous behaviors, this could be a result of her husband. I am trying not to jump to conclusions, though, because I have always thought so highly of him since I was a kid. One can only hope that she will be found safe and that her husband has nothing to do with this.

Does anyone close to her know if she was in an abusive relationship? What is the tempermant of the hubby. 9 times out of 10, its someone you know very well.

You're all being pretentious prats! Just stop putting your useless opinions about her husband, their relationship, or her students aside. Stop wasting your time gossiping and spend your time praying and sending her family good thoughts.
And 4:14 PM, 9 times out of 10, statistics are made up...

Her husband is crazy, and obviously had something to do with this. She Is a great teacher, and an amazing women. I've known her for quite some time now and I just hope she is found.

I am hearing that her body was found at a family farm in Princess Anne. Hoping this tragic news is false.
