ConservativeAtheist said...: Weiner should have resigned the very minute it was exposed that he lied.. NOT misrepresented.. or was mistaken.. but lied about this. If only he had been honest and up front about it to start with... he could have at least saved some face, and most would have forgiven him... heck... may be he could have kept his job.

Quite frankly... up until this scandal.. though I disagreed with much of Weiners politics... I really liked and respected him for his drive and tenacity, and wished that the conservative perspective had someone with his charisma.

I feel bad for his family, his supporters, and constituents... but not for him... he earned what is coming to him.; June 17, 2011 at 1:39 PM
