Yeah, it's a good idea. Of course, as we've seen in other areas regarding cops and cameras, when the camera records something that is embarrassing to the cops, its contents are mysteriously erased. If cops are equipped with cameras, there needs to be a separate department handling the content of those cameras.
Yes. And, if they are following the law, they won't mind it. Look at what the Philly police did on UTube to see an example of the abuse police put people through. They were taped being verbally abusive and pulled a gun on a person who was following the law. Hopefully, that police officer has been fired. Joe, put that on your post and ask a question too. You'll get a lot of comments! Fortunately, there are far more "good cops" than "bad cops". But if they had the camera, they'd ALL be forced to be "good cops" at least while they were on duty. No. I am not a cop hater, haven't been arrested, not uneducated, or other blah, blah, blah.

Yes Absolutely they should... My friend was pulled over by a Delaware State cop and because he is African American and was driving in a older year Lincoln they automatically assumed he was a drug dealer and searched him... Upon the search they found nothing to prove such allegations and the bad part of this other than it being profiled, was they broke his laptop... The cop took it and slammed in on the ground into pieces... Yet the cop doesn't have to replace these things...
Also what bout when cops have a drug dog tearing your car apart to find nothing or only a candy bar the dog was after? the cops and police department have no liability when it comes to wrongful accusations and when they destroy property... They should have to replace it specially when nothing is found and the person being searched stated there is nothing in my car...
Also what bout that guy in PA, who is being charged with resisting arrest when he stood there the whole time while the cops waited to see what eh can be charged with... The guy who was carrying the UN-concealed gun in which he has permits and license to have...
There are more crooked cops out there than people believe...
Regardless of the man's license to carry, he still disobeyed a lawful order from a police officer and at that point it was on him. Don't f with the po-po and they will only f with us a little bit. That guy was purposely taunting, do you think it was coincidence that they had the whole thing on tape?
To 11:22 -- there was no lawful order from a police officer for the guy to disobey. An officer can't make a lawful order unless he's telling someone to comply with the law.
"Don't f with the po-po" -- a great slogan that leads to the police having a free hand to violate your basic natural rights whenever they want.
