It's easy to get all abuzz and up in arms and other angry, huffy things when the Internet can show you a billion things a day, but is this one of those things worthy of a tirade, or is it just a thoughtless, not so smart ad layout? So we posit the question: "Is This Racist?", Dove Body Wash edition.

This add is not racist. The person who pointed out the specific order or the women is. The only way to find racism in this add is to actually look for it. This add simply shows beautiful skin on multiple races. Put the women in any order you like, it does not matter.
I've found no racism in this add.
Maybe the girls should be wearing black towels or towels of color or colored towels.Who cares?
No racism. It is just showing that any of the three women can have better skin by using Dove. It is crazy that anyone would even bring this up.
It's very clear when the ad is viewed in a larger format that the words before and after are on 2 types of skin. Before is very dry skin and after is moisturised skin. I neven even noticed the 3 different types of women. I saw the ad for what it was meant to be. Someone was very bored with nothing to do than to stir up an empty pot just to see if someone would look inside.
OMG!!!! Like 9:08 says, The person who pointed out the specific order or the women is. guess they have nothing better to do...WOW!!!! get a life...
I find it offensive that they all have towels on.
Good grief, we've really taken racial sensitivity too far!
Ivory is 99.99% pure and the best. I'm not going to grow old gracefully.
So if people think that you scrub with dove you'll turn white. Well if they would have put a Chinese woman last then that would mean stupid people would think they'll turn Chinese if they keep scrubbing right??
VERY sexy
I am a white woman and black women have the most beautiful skin by far. Their pigment protects them from aging. White women sunbathe thinking this look is healthy all the while turning their skin into an alligator. Your skin is the protective shield of your body. There's nothing wrong with a little vitamin D, its necessary to keep your bones strong. But you get enough of that with just ten minutes in the sun. Of the three women above, I personally believe the black woman is the healthiest looking one of all, all the way around.
