Doctor Accused Of Performing Unnecessary Surgeries Defends Himself

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The medical license of an embattled Maryland doctor accused of performing unnecessary surgeries hangs in the balance.  On Wednesday, Dr. Mark Midei will go before state regulators to fight for his career.  Adam May reports Sunday, he defended himself in our media partner, The Baltimore Sun.

A once-highly respected cardiologist stands accused of performing more than 500 stent surgeries on patients who did not have clogged arteries.  Now Dr. Mark Midei fires back in an editorial printed in the Baltimore Sun.

I cannot wait for Obama Care to kick in so I do not have to worry about the bills the hospitals send me and the family. I can sit back and watch TV all day while you work to pay taxes.
