Delaware Police Baffled By Federal Official's Killing

NEWARK, Del. (AP) -- Newark police say a tip line set up in hopes of obtaining information about the killing of a former Pentagon official has not produced any leads.

Police Lt. Mark Farrall says the tip line was set up after John Wheeler's family offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in his death. But Farrall says the tip line has not been generated any useful information, and that authorities are still asking the public for assistance in the investigation.

Police have not identified any suspects and have yet to determine where Wheeler was killed or how his body wound up in a trash bin in Newark. He was last seen wandering around downtown Wilmington in a confused state in the two days before his body was found.

Of course not. He was killed by our government after he threatened to disclose the public spraying of poisons.

Another cover up.

Well, you think Wilmington is bad you should check out LAKE STREET on the weekends around 1:00 am to 4:00 am. You can buy any illegal gun you want; while Salisbury PD is hiding in the weeds by Salisbury State trying to catch perons under 21 drinking; not much fight there busting a 18 yr old girl. GOD FORBID hanging out a LAKE STREET; might have to really work.

I agree tax payer. But I wasn't kidding. Lake St. might be bad but Wilm. is all tore up. Women have been assaulted downtown in broad day light on several instances. Not to mention the common robberies and thefts as well as the "ladies of the night". Atleast SPD cleared that problem up (the "ladies").
