Of this group I would ho with Chip Stroyy. He is a former Asst States Attorney and I always found him to be a law and order type of person. That being said I am reasonably sure that O'Smelly will pick Leah Jane Seaton simply because of gender. O'Smelly has a track record of Minority appointments.

Good Luck Chip, you sure earned it.

They sure missed the boat again. The first choice should be John Rue. Unlike the others, he has our community at heart.

Keep trying Mr. Rue. You are a fine attorney in a profession of liars, cheats and thieves.

Some older attorneys feel that this is the weakest list of candidates they have ever seen.

This is certainly an opportunity for local attorneys to weigh in on this subject-- make your comments

John Rue withdrew. Otherwise he probably would have gotten it.

I understand that John Rue applied and later withdrew, but don't know why.

Heard that he did the best in the bar associations popularity poll on the candidates.

I agree that list leaves much to be desired on the Circuit Court bench.

Just what we need is Strott, He is an ambulance chaser from way back. A snake in the grass would be a much better pick than Chipper.

Yikes!

Where's Judge Judy now that we really need her???

Doctors and lawyers and judges.
Tears are running down my face , the most crooked people in the U.S..
It don't make ant difference who they elect , nothing will change except the money from one hand to the other.

Barbara trader? Wow that's bad. She just looks incompetent.

Chip is your best overall choice there.

Hope not Caldwell - don't know anything about Seaton so all that is left is Strott.....not much to pick from it seems. Judge Judy - we need you!

I Like M.J. He is a smart guy who I enjoy watching in court. He has a good grasp on the actual law.

George Strott helped my friend and thought he was a nice man and a good attorney. He made her feel comfortable.

sounds like someone has a personal grudge against Chip Strott...Oh how petty people can be. I too think he would be a great judge, good character, good experience and compassion for all...And a sense of humor!

11:40 I couldn't of said it better, good luck Chip!
