TODAY: Secretary Sebelius, Govs. O’Malley and Markell To Hold Conference Call On Impact Of Repeal Of Affordable Care Act

WASHINGTON, DC – Tuesday, January 18th at 3:30 p.m. EST, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and Delaware Governor Jack Markell will hold a conference call with reporters to discuss the impact of repealing the Affordable Care Act on the region’s economy, residents and businesses. Repeal of the Affordable Care Act would restrict access to affordable health insurance for individuals, burden small businesses with skyrocketing health care costs and explode national and state deficits.  Without the Affordable Care Act, insurance companies would again be free to discriminate against millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions.  For information on the price of repealing the Affordable Care Act in Maryland and Delaware, please click here: LINK.

The House of Representatives is expected to vote on repealing the Affordable Care Act this week.
