Good News From Giant Food!

We received word from the local Giant Food manager that Giant has amended its corporate policy to allow for more bell ringing.

The Salvation Army can now add Bell Ringers for four hours on Saturday, December 11 and Saturday, December 18. During Christmas week, Red Kettles can be placed in front of Giant Food from 9 to 9, December 20-23 and until 2PM Christmas eve.

We are grateful the corporate policy has been amended and wish to express appreciation to the management and staff for their support of individuals with needs in our community.

If you'd like to volunteer to ring the bell please call 410-749-7464.

Your friends at The Salvation Army

Good for Salisbury News. If it wasn't for all that pressure none of this would have happened. I haven't shopped there since they made the original call but I may change my mind.

I quit shopping there when they decided not to carry the selection they use to. I only go now in a pinch. Love Walmart it is much cheaper and has better selection.

Walmart does not have a better selection at all, not to mention the meat at Walmart is... well is it really meat? Have you ever looked at the packages of meat? Some say 10% solution? WTH is that? Just another way for them to charge you for water. Once you cook that meat it's 1/2 the size it was in the beginning and it tastes funny. In the long run it doesn't end up being cheaper.
