Salisbury News Advertisers Pay It Forward Again

Last week I received an e-mail and then a phone call referencing a fundraiser for Bill Bozman. Bill has stage 3 cancer and the Fraternal Order of Eagles were hosting a fundraiser dinner on Bill's behalf.

I asked how many people they thought might be attending and they said they ordered 100 meals and backordered another hundred. He went on to tell me they printed 200 tickets for the event.

I stated Salisbury News would like to order 100 tickets/meals, but there's a catch. We wanted to be able to make this work for everyone. One, help make a donation for Bill Bozman but we also wanted to be able to provide 100 meals for the homeless.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles said, no problem. They packaged up each meal and we were able to provide 100 hot meals for two homeless shelters here in Salisbury.
