I saw five cars in ditches this morning. It's getting bad out there, so stay put if possible!

Was at Giant a little earlier today and their computer system was down and cash registers were not working. The staff/management jumped right in to assist everyone to pay for their groceries the best way possible! They deserve some kudos for the day.

Even adams ribs has a sign on their door saying that they are closing at 4! They didn't close at all during the winter storms last year.

What's funny is WBOC said Friday it's not going to snow.

Some places really need to think about employee safety. It’s sad when the need to make money tops peoples’ safety.

Got the call at 11 AM to pick up daughter who was working in the mall. Drive into town only took 1/2 hour, not terrible, but drive home, heading east getting home just before noon was terrible--and getting worse by the moment. Very glad to get home, had several whiteout condition incidents. Had I not driven that road daily for the last 25 years (Old OC Road), I likely would have driven off the road.

Be safe out there, it's bad and getting much worse.

NO store should stay open in this. It temps idiots to need to go out and jeopardize their and everyone elses safety. Walmart you should be ashamed that you don't care more for your employees. You should not even consider staying open. You are disgracefull for your lack of concern for the workers. I hope every one of your employees call in and those that try to get there should be given a bonus!!!

At noon, North Walmart was at less than half staffing due to call ins. The GM side was being closed in sections, and the grocery side would stay open for emergancy personel. I pulled my wife and son out before they could really get clocked in. I told them in front of their managers I was not going to risk another trip out tonight.

WBOC is a joke. If you still watch them...well you deserve what you get.

They get beat by a BLOG!
