Because of all the comments last year, perhaps Mr Pollitt felt the need to spell out exactly what can and cannot be done during this emergency situation. Some people do not use common sense and stay off the roads. With a written declaration, there cannot be an excuse for breaking the rules and causing a great deal more work for our road crews.

Why is Gail Barkobitch in such a snit over this declaration?

This may seem to be a silly question, but will the parking garage down town be open tomorrow (Tuesday)?

I wish Big Rick would've been transparent and inclusive with his decision. Is a conference call so difficult? When can we change the executive form of government or vote this guy out? No problem with the decision of a day but why not get the input of others before you make a decision that has such an impact on the entire county?

I can tell you this, if there weren't so many idiots on the roads joyriding and getting stuck, clearing the roads would be alot easier. Many hours are wasted because some fool that has no business being out gets stuck on a road and blocks progress. They should be arrested.
