Thanks for letting me know that my office is closed Joe! So far I have yet to see any notices stating that the GOB has been closed from other media sources (DT, WMDT, WBOC). I haven't even heard anything from department heads nor have they posted anything on the County website yet! It goes to show that you are indeed a much needed news and information source here on the Shore! Could you please provide a detailed list of all the local closings? Thanks for all that you do!

Joe...could u please have someone clarify what a State of Emergency entails...Yesterday my place of employment did not close and a state of emergency was in effect. I left for work, almost got there but was in an auto accident which put my only vehicle out of commission. I was fined $130.00 for being on the road during the soe...I later learned that my employer was told it was only for parked vehicles to be off the road..I think people are confused as to this policy. Thank God Im alive today but very sore but someone else might not have been so lucky..Businesses just wont close and it makes it hard on those of us who have to work...thanks to you and Happy New Year...

Joe, does this mean we are not supposed to drive until Wednesday morning or we will be fined if stopped?

Old Ocean city road is not a county road. It's up to the state to plow it.
