Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On November 1, 2010 at approximately 7:40 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were in the area of East Vine Street and Franklin Avenue and observed the below listed suspect who was known to be wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. The officers stopped the suspect, who gave the officers a false name. The officers positively identified the suspect and took the suspect into custody on the outstanding arrest warrant. The suspect was charged with obstructing and hindering for providing false identification information. The arrest warrant was obtained by a Salisbury Officer for the attempted robbery of a victim on November 1. On that date the suspect forced entry into a residence on Baker Street and attempted to rob a subject that knew the suspect. The victim struck the suspect during the robbery, causing the suspect to flee from the area. There were no injuries during the attempted robbery.

On November 2, 2010 at approximately 10:10 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of South Division Street and observed the below listed suspect acting in a suspicious manner. The officers attempted to make contact with the suspect however the suspect fled from the area on foot. The officers apprehended the suspect and observed that the suspect was concealing packages of meat beneath his coat. The officers investigation and found that the suspect had stolen the meat from the Super Fresh Food Store on College Avenue.

On November 3, 2010 at approximately 2:12 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of Davis Street and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by the below listed suspect. The operator of the vehicle gave the officers permission to search the vehicle and during the search the below suspect was found in possession of suspected "crack"/cocaine.

On November 3, 2010 at approximately 9:45 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the parking lot of the Food Lion on Snow Hill Road for the report of a subject using a controlled dangerous substance in a vehicle. The responding officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle as it pulled out of the parking lot and made contact with the below listed suspects. As the suspects exited the vehicle the officers observed a syringe beside the driver’s seat. A further search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a large amount of used syringes containing suspected cds residue, several prescription medication pills and a bag of suspected marijuana.

On November 3 at 8:15 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of South Salisbury Boulevard and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by the below suspects for traffic violations. The driver, suspect # 1, was found to be driving on a suspended license. Suspect # 2 was found to be wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. A search of suspect # 2, incident to arrest, revealed a quantity of suspected cocaine. Suspect # 3 was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.

I worked with Brianna's mother at Ocean Downs she is deceased now I know she would be so hurt by Brianna's behavior. I hope she turns her self around for her mothers sake if nothing.
