Pres. Obama has met with leaders from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and said he wants the DREAM Act Amnesty passed before lawmakers adjourn in December. According to a release issued by Rep. Nydia Velasquez (D-N.Y.), who attended the White House meeting, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has tentatively scheduled a vote on DREAM for Nov. 29 - the Monday Congress returns from Thanksgiving recess.

Funny (sad and pathetic really) how our own country can't take care of hard working state employees (keep giving us furloughs, layoffs, no pay raises, no cost of living adjustments, salary reduction days, drastic budge cuts to state facilities and services budgets, give hiring freezes, and expect us to do more w/less staff and now screw w/our medical and prescription benefits and our retirement benefits after working in stressful and dangerous jobs) and keep punishing us to balance budgets but we can take care of our "New Americans" and give them free health care, a college education, driver's license, etc. and not have business owners from foreign countries pay taxes on their convenience stores and gas stations. This country is so backwards it is embarassing!
I'd say they are a bunch of Turkeys themselves for even proposing such an idea! Our country will soon be at war w/our own government! The U.S.A. is becoming a disgrace..or should I say United States of America is becoming United States of Amnesty! Sick!
