Season Tickets are Now On Sale!
Salisbury, Md. – The Delmarva Shorebirds are pleased to unveil the four available ticket packages for the upcoming 2011 campaign. Full season tickets, half season tickets, 22-game mini plans and 12-game mini plans are currently on sale. The 2011 season begins on April 5 with a special exhibition game against Salisbury University.
New in 2011, all four packages will include a ticket to the 2011 South Atlantic League “Strike Out Hunger” All-Star Game and a ticket to the special exhibition game against Salisbury University.
“It is our mission each season to make ticket packages affordable for the Eastern Shore community while still upholding the value of each package, said general manager Chris Bitters. “With the addition of the all-star game and the exhibition game to each package, we have accomplished our goal.”

FULL SEASON TICKETS
The most basic and traditional plan is the full season ticket package. This plan includes a ticket to all 70 home games at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium plus a ticket to the 2011 South Atlantic League “Strike Out Hunger” All-Star Game and a ticket to the exhibition against Salisbury University. Season ticket holders save 25% off the gate price by purchasing the full season in advance. In addition, season ticket holders are guaranteed to receive all giveaway items when in attendance. Some of the other benefits include: receiving the same great reserved seat for every game, access to enter the stadium one hour before the general public, season ticket holder only autograph session with your 2011 Shorebirds and much more!
HALF SEASON TICKETS
The half season ticket package includes a ticket to 35 Shorebirds home games and a ticket to the SAL “Strike Out Hunger” All-Star Game and the special exhibition game against Salisbury. Half season ticket holders have the ability to customize their plan based on availability. Half season ticket holders enjoy many benefits including: saving 25% off the gate price by purchasing in advance, free parking with a complimentary VIP parking pass, access to enter the stadium one hour before the general public and much more!
22-GAME MINI PLAN
The 22-game mini plan is brand new in 2011. The package includes a ticket to 20 of the best Shorebirds games plus a ticket to the SAL “Strike Out Hunger” All-Star Game and the exhibition against Salisbury University. The 22-game plan gives holders great flexibility. Tickets can be exchanged 24-hours in advance for any future game in 2011. In addition, special pre-paid parking passes are available to 22-game mini plan holders for just $1!
12-GAME MINI PLAN
The 12-game mini plan is the final package available in 2011. The package includes a ticket to 10 Shorebirds games plus a ticket to the SAL All-Star Game and a ticket to the exhibition game against Salisbury University. Similar to the 22-game plan, the 12-game plan can be customized. In addition, special pre-paid parking passes are available to 12-game mini plan holders for just $1!

Finally the Shorebirds office has listened to the fans. It is easily observable that attendance has gone way down in the last couple of years. While the economy may be a factor in lower attendance, many fans objected to the $3 for parking. Charging just $1 may result in many fans returning. I will probably resume attending; the 12-game pack looks good. Thanks, Shorebirds, for listening and coming up with these offers!
