On October 8, 2010 at approximately 6:10 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspects # 1 and # 2 on outstanding arrest warrants for drug charges resulting from the execution of a search and seizure warrant by the Wicomico Co. Narcotics Task Force at a residence on Holland Avenue on May 27, 2010. During the execution of the search warrant, quantities of suspected cocaine and suspected marijuana were located in addition to related paraphernalia. On this date, while inside of the residence to take the suspects into custody, the officers observed several smoking devices in plain view of the officers. These items were checked and contained suspected cocaine and suspected marijuana. Suspect # 3 was arrested as a result of the recovery of these items.
ARRESTED# 1: Elizabeth Faye Johnson, 68 years of age

On October 9, 2010 at approximately 3:46 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the fourteen hundred (1400) block of Ard Brac Place for the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival the officers made contact with a resident of the address who directed the officers to the below listed suspect who was detained in the kitchen area. The resident advised the officers that he was asleep in the residence when he heard someone break the rear door. The resident investigated the situation and found the suspect, who was intoxicated, inside of the residence. The residents did not know the suspect and there were no injuries.
ARRESTED: Christopher Michael Finney, 20 years of age

Fourth degree burglary
Malicious destruction of property (2 counts)

On October 9, 2010 at approximately 2:00 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect on an outstanding arrest warrant for the possession of prescription medication recovered during a traffic stop on May 27, 2010. The officers at that time were on routine patrol in the area of Priscilla Street and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was occupied by the below listed suspect for traffic violations.
During a check of the vehicle, the officers located a bottle containing a prescription medication. The medication was found to be the property of the below listed suspect who did not have a prescription for the medication.
ARRESTED: Walter Christopher Floyd, 47 years of age

CHARGES: Possession of Oxycodone
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On October 10, 2010 at approximately 1:02 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Brew River Restaurant for the report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival the officers observed the below listed suspect yelling profanities at the employees of the restaurant. The officers tried to calm the suspect with negative results.

I live on Holland Ave where the 3 women above were arrested. Everyone in the neighborhood wonders how they get away with so much traffic coming in an out of the house at all hours and the police are not interested. This is a pretty good street except for this one horrible horrible home. We have seen people coming out of her home with drugs in their hands, counting money etc...Some argruments about drugs. Hopefully they will lock them up when they go to court. Court date is not until 2/14/2011 for an arrest that was done in May 2010. Everytime they take her away she is dealing drugs as soon as she gets home. Everyone on this street knows.
4:44 - I'm sure it must be awful for you. I also live in a neihborhood that is full of drug activity, which the police say they don't have the manpower to deal with. Sadly, I'm not surprise it took almost 5 months to arrest these women on the warrants from back in May. Doesn't sound like they'd be hard to find, especially a 68 year old. Maybe the police finally caught them using their cellphones.
you have to build up PC so the defense attorneys won't get an automatic dismissal. Your say so and other's won't amount to diddly unless activity is observed and documented by law enforcement. Welcome to the Maryland carved out by our liberal friends.
I sympathize,neighbors like that are why I moved out into a rural area.If they rent,find out who the landlord is and pester them enough,they will put those people out and they will become someone elses problem.One of my friends has neighbors like that too and she spent a small fortune erecting a stockade fence and security lights but otherwise has to put up with them until they go to jail again.
