I know you like to alert readers to scams and just last week there was a woman going around trying to get "gas money" and come to find out she is an old pro,having been arrested in several other states, and her and her husband are now back on the Eastern Shore.
She is back to her old tricks and people need to be leery. She is a 40 yr old pregnant white woman, very skinny, with glasses and a ponytail and she uses different aliases. She tells people her mother is in PRMC and her husbands on a boat and she needs gas to go see her Mom. Please warn your readers. She is currently out on appeal for her last scam.

thats actually a common story for the beggars. we have a couple that pass through our office complex occassionally.

I was approached by a guy at the Delmar WaWa the other day. Said he was broke down up the road and needed some gas money.
He went to everyone's car that was getting gas asking and nobody helped him.
Maybe they're working together.
These people have no shame either-will look you right in the eye and lie.
Alias???? do you have names to look out for. It is an old scam, I work in a restaurant and someone does try about weekly to get money with some sort of scam. Usually if you ask to call an officer for them, they back off.
Lets just say she is getting ready to go to jail for Disaster-related scams.
