One of the foremost experts on gangs on the east coast works at the State's Attorney's Office - Dan Daugherty. Is he going to be there?
Was anyone local invited? Is this going to have local info that is relavant? We have a local Gang Unit, were they invited?
Are you guys kidding? We don't have gangs here - so sayith Tilghman et al....maybe they should have checked out the facts around the Cecil st. shooting a few days ago...wonder why there was no brass on the ground? I'll tell you why, B/C the local kids are instructed to pick it up so it can't be traced. My son goes to Prince Street (which is very close by)and his classmates told him that they did this, and showed him the shell to prove it. I called the school and asked them to look into it, but honestly, they'll never find out the truth as the kids all know that 'snitches get stiches" I, for one, am appaled that this has come to pass, and that new prison and this economy are to blame....along with the local idiots that still deny we are over reacting and that there are no real gangs in Salisbury.
